  • Lead and manage the team to achieve business objectives
  • Create and enhance long-term business relationships with customers to maximize business growth and opportunities
  • Provide advice and suggestions on product design to facilitate cost-saving and enhance product sales
  • Manage the team to achieve division’s business objectives and to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Establish and maintain a strong local and regional vendor network to meet customers’ current and future business needs
  • Develop new business opportunities with customers
  • Manage the team’s merchandising activities to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide solutions and support to ensure smooth production and manufacturing process
  • Monitor sales performance, budget analysis and implementation
  • Propose and implement solutions to achieve sourcing strategies for specific items
  • Develop a strong trusting relationship with cross functional teams to build true partnerships and consistent goals
  • Coach and develop a quality team including succession planning and regular performance reviews to address personal growth and development needs to foster a productive and focused team
  • Maintain ongoing and regular communication with vendor contacts including resolution of delivery issues with vendor base
  • Obtain accurate factory profiles from the vendors and partner with corporate compliance to ensure vendor files are current
  • Manage orders with vendors, customers and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management


  • Diploma or Degree in Clothing, Textile Merchandising or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience with at least 4 years in managerial level
  • Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process
  • Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
  • Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Literate in Microsoft office programs
  • Occasional travel is required


Additional requirements:

  • Have a good understanding of sourcing and production for pre and post functions of merchandising who can multi-task and handle multiple customers.
  • Have a global mindset, able to work with different offices with good communication skills and good managerial skills, good English is a must as well as good knowledge in US market.
